We’ve previously strapped our test gear to a GT Sport with a six-speed manual as well as the more pedestrian Elantra GT sedan. This go-round is focused on the 2018 Elantra GT Sport with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The Elantra GT Sport with the dual-clutch automatic is a touch quicker than its manually shifted doppelg’nger. Requiring 6.3 seconds to reach 60 mph, it shaves three-tenths from the manual’s time. The quarter-mile measure proved to be a tighter race, however, the automatic’s 14.9-second, 95-mph run just eking out a win over the manual’s 15As with many Hyundai models, a Sport mode can be called up via a button located near the shifter

Let’s face it, some people are in the market for a basic point-A-to-point-B vehicle. The Hyundai Elantra GT Sport is not a basic car. In Sport trim, the Elantra moves into another category: fun to drive.

The Elantra GT Sport has some clean attractive lines for a sedan, but it doesn’t differentiate itself that much from a standard Elantra GT or a Ford Focus ST. The truth doesn’t always matter, and people sometimes form opinions that are based on appearances or triggered by emotion. Hyundai Elantra provides cost-effective comfort

In a relatively short period of time, the Hyundai Elantra has risen from a cheaply built economy car to one of the most refined in its competitive class.

In fact, if you drive it back-to-back with its American and Japanese rivals, it’s hard to find any of the glaring shortfalls that were so obvious in its ancestors. The materials and design feel surprisingly nice for its low price, starting at $16,950, and its driving feel is perfectly pleasant.

The Elantra’s suspension favors comfort over handling. This isn’t a car that begs to be pushed hard through corners, preferring to float in a straight line down the boulevards and highways, making it an ideal machine for commuters but not necessarily enthusiasts.

Hyundai Elantra is dazzling all-purpose vehicle

Any cook who uses all-purpose flour will understand the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT, which stands out as an all-purpose automobile.

It is a compact four-door hatchback sedan which seats four adults comfortably ‘ five in a pinch ‘ and has ample cargo space ‘ 25 cubic feet, or about double that in the trunk of a typical compact notchback sedan.
