Well-known Frank Keane BMW is rolling out a substantial recruitment campaign in line with plans to expand its BMW and MINI operations at its Naas Road outlet.

The business is investing in facilities and staff to meet anticipated customer demand for electric, hybrid and e-mobility services.

A new facility will allow for further servicing capacity, vehicle storage, customer car parking and electric charging facilities.

The “extensive recruitment drive” already under way, and those lucky enough to be chosen will be given comprehensive training.

Hand-in-hand with that goes the opportunity to progress their careers in positions in sales, after-sales, management, marketing, administration and more.

Honest John’s Motoring Agony Column 17-11-2018 Part 1 | Motoring News

I bought a new Range Rover Evoque last September on a 3 year PCP contract and a Service Pack was added in to the agreement for ‘775. I just went to book the first annual service and my local dealership has told me that:’I only need a service every 2 years on this car; therefore in the duration of this contract I will only need one service, not the 3 it is supposed to cover. I was sold the high mileage service pack version (25,000 a year) at a higher cost, despite being limited under the contract to 13,000 per year.’Under the circumstances, I believe I was mis-sold the service pack and it should be cancelled and a refund of ‘775 made. I will only have to pay about ‘365 for the one service I will require during the contract, so ‘775 does not represent a fair charge.’

Toyota Yaris GR Sport unveiled for Europe

Inspired by the Yaris GRMN, the GR Sport keeps the standard European model’s hybrid powertrain, while adding several styling and suspension modifications.

Key changes include Sachs Performance shock absorbers, a solid anti-roll bar and an 11mm lower ride height, as well as the same Bridgestone Potenza RE50 tyres as the Yaris GRMN.

Toyota claim that these additions, along with a 18mm reduction in the wheel-to-wheelarch gap for sharper looks.

On the outside, the GR Sport adds 17-inch black alloy wheels, a black boot spoiler and additional black detailing.

Toyota Yaris GR Sport ‘ sporty hybrid hatch makes Paris debut

When Toyota ran the 209bhp, 1135kg Yaris GRMN up the flagpole at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, confirming in the process that this limited run model heralded a more concerted effort to inject some dynamism into its hatchback range, the interest of car fans was well and truly piqued. At the 2018 Paris motor show, the new Yaris GR sport marks the next stage in that plan.

Historically, Toyota has had more success with purpose built performance cars than it has with fettled versions of its mainstream hatchbacks, but the Yaris GRMN was a rare highlight and the GR Sport aims to capture some of that flavour, while selling in significantly larger quantities than the 600-unit special.
