Apex Motors is moving forward by counting backward. After unveiling the AP-1 sports car in 2019, Apex is set to debut a new concept car codenamed the AP-0 at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show.

We fully expect the AP-0 to have some features similar to those seen on the AP-1, but the teaser shows a shape that will be much different. For starters, it’s a coupe rather than an open-top roadster. Down the rear of the vehicle is an aerodynamic spine that lights up on the back and seems to have some sort of camera or sensor at the front. Ahead of the windshield, there also appears to be a front wing.’

Full details and images will be released in a few weeks during the Geneva show. The video below shows more about the AP-1.

Buy This V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee For $3,000 So We Don’t Have To

When you’re looking for a used car at $3,000 or under, your options generally include vehicles with major defects. We’re talking chicken wire in lieu of doors, smoke plumes coming from under the hood, and other potentially costly adventures. And while an old Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited with over 256,000 miles doesn’t sound great, this could actually be a tremendous find.

Made only for the 1998 model year, the Jeep Grand Cherokees with the 5.9-liter V8 were fast SUVs before fast SUVs were a thing.

Tesla Cybertruck Styling Sort Of Works On A Two-Door Sports Car

It’s safe to say that Tesla has knocked the automotive industry for a loop by unveiling the Cybertruck pickup. It’s not as much what it can do and how it can do it, but rather the styling, for which nobody was really ready.

* * *

But if ‘Dystopian Noire’ is your thing, then you might like to see how that wedge-shaped design language would look like on other categories, such as something low, sporty and with two-doors. Case in point, this render by JHD Creative dubbed’ the Cybercar.

Toyota Sprucing up a Daihatsu Copen Will Make You Think Twice About Kei Cars

Gazoo Racing, Toyota’s performance development arm, recently turned its attention to a kei car produced by Toyota’s wholly-owned subsidiary Daihatsu, and gave it a hot-rodded spin. Dubbed as the Copen GR Sport, the tiny roadster is slated to make its physical appearance at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show at the end of the month.

Powered by an unaltered 0.66-liter turbocharged engine that yields 53 hp and 92 Nm, the Copen GR sends its power to the wheels via a seven-speed CVT or five-speed manual gearbox.

A few visual updates were done here and there, starting with the side air intakes on the front bumper, a beefier front grille, and a diffuser-imbued rear bumper. Gazoo then added LED lighting (headlights, foglights, and taillights), BBS forged aluminum wheels, and GR Sport emblems.

After Tesla’s record year in Norway, rivals gear up for 2020

OSLO (Reuters) – New electric car sales in Norway rose by a third last year amid soaring demand for Tesla Inc’s vehicles, but the pioneering U.S. company will face a more competitive market in 2020 as rivals prepare to launch new electric models.

Fully electric cars made up 42.4% of sales in the Nordic country last year, a global record, rising from a 31.2% market share in 2018 and just 5.5% in 2013, the Norwegian Road Federation said on Friday.

Most of Norway’s top-10 cars in 2019 were electric, including Volkswagen’s Golf , Nissan’s Leaf, Audi’s e-tron, BMW’s i3, Jaguar’s I-PACE and several of Hyundai’s models.
