Daleville wins first county title in girls golf

Proud of my girls today-the putter was not an ally ‘ Ball State earned a 1-0 victory over Eastern Illinois in an exhibition match at Briner Sports Complex on Friday evening.

MUNCIE, Ind. — Daleville won its first Delaware County championship in girls golf on Saturday at Muncie Elks.

The Broncos shot 383 to edge Wapahani (385) for the title. Delta (396) was third, Yorktown (413) fourth and Wes-Del (453) fifth.

Eve Emery placed second overall to pace Daleville and head coach Joe Rench, shooting 87. Taylor GIllum shot 95 to finish seventh, while Emma Allen was 14th with a 97 and Willoe Cunnington shot 104.
