Nazareth’s Talya Brugler was a bit off of her game in the early part of the East Penn Conference girls basketball semifinals.

Brugler, a junior who was voted the EPC MVP earlier this week, totaled 24 points and 10 rebounds as the second-seeded Blue Eagles earned a hard-fought 44-38 victory over No. 3 Stroudsburg in the opener of a semifinal-round doubleheader.

With their biggest win of the season, Bickert’s Blue Eagles (21-3) advance to Thursday’s conference championship game against No. 1 Bethlehem Catholic. That final is set for a 6 p.m. tip-off at PPL Center.
