History-making performances in Wyoming high school sports during 2018 – Casper Star

Relive the biggest individual and team performances to come out of Wyoming high schools from the past calendar year.

By the end of the third quarter in Friday night’s Peach Basket, the crowd inside Kelly Walsh High School was at capacity. The gym, which safely sits 3,000 people, had some sitting along walls, in aisles and on sidelines.

The school even wheeled out a projector in the commons area outside so those who could not make it inside the cramped gym could still watch the rivalry between Kelly Walsh and Natrona County.

Kelly Walsh led but the Mustangs were in the middle of an 8-0 run to cut the lead from its double-digit heights. An and-1 from Jesse Harshman later made it a three-point game with 1:48 remaining.
