North’s McClaskey named Girls Track & Field Runner of the Year

Over the last four years, Caroline McClaskey has been the spark of the North Montgomery girls’ track and field team leading the Chargers to a Sagamore Conference championship in 2016, two runner-up finishes, and four straight county titles. Individually, she won a number of county and conference titles, including the 400 county title, and was a member of the 4×400 and 4×800 relay teams that won the county title and 4×800 team that won a conference title this season. McClaskey is the 2018 Journal Review girls’ track and field athlete of the year. She also qualified for the IHSAA Regional in both the 400, the 4×400 and 4×800 relay.’
