“I’ve been getting the itch to get back in it,” he said. “Then I saw it (the Jefferson opening) in the paper one Sunday and I asked my wife about it. She said, ‘Why not?’ So I applied and I was lucky enough to get it.”


“It’s definitely weird,” he said. “But I talked to a lot of people and one of them was (longtime Mason coach) Jack Michael, who I respect more than anyone will ever know. He told me, ‘You’re going to be working with kids. It doesn’t matter where you do it.’”
