The regional meet was hosted by Parkersburg South and a total of seven track teams were all in attendence hoping to qualify their athletes for the state competition.
The meet began with the field events starting around 4 p.m. The Ripleys girls picked up some early points here, with Olivia Miller getting 5-2 in the high jump, taking first place in the event. Second place went to Parkersburg South’s Erin Williams, jumping 5 feet. And third in this event went to Hurricanes Nadia Legros jumping 5 feet.
