KANSAS CITY, Mo. ‘ The Staley wrestling program has been a shining example of continued excellence year in and year out. That excellence continues, even on the girls side, with the addition of girls wrestling as an official school-sanctioned sport in Missouri.

Freshman girls wrestling standout Lexi Hatfield is showing her competition that she is a true force to be reckoned with.

Lexi competed in the Wonder Woman girls wrestling tournament hosted by Battle High School in Columbia, Mo. That was the largest girls wrestling tournament ever put on in the state of Missouri which featured over 200 girls from 33 different teams. The weekend ended with Lexi winning the championship in the 126-pound weight division and receiving a coveted Wonder Women belt as a champion in her respective weight division. She also helped the Staley girls wrestling team finish second overall in the tournament.
