Circuitous medieval streets, half-timbered houses, quaint storefronts, butterscotch-hued buildings, and turreted rooftops that gleam like copper pennies constitute the French wine-making village of Sancerre, set in the eastern edge of the Loire Valley.

The Nā Pali coastline from the ocean. It is part of the Nā Pali Coast State Park which encompasses 6,175 acres (20 km2) of land and is located on the northwest side of Kauaʻi.

Heading to Kauai? Don’t forget to pack your hiking boots. You’ll want to don them to trek the undulating trails of Waimea Canyon.

Extensive and space age, the City of Arts and Sciences might be a futuristic city on Mars. In truth, it’s an architectural marvel in Valencia, the third largest city in Spain.
